Since 2019, the Government has increased its investment in reducing unnecessary delays in environmental approvals under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act). This investment has significantly accelerated environmental approvals, supporting strong economic development while ensuring the protection of Australia’s unique heritage and environment.
