Overview

This Policy Statement outlines the effect of new and amended listings and declarations on assessment and approval decisions under the EPBC Act, after a referral has been received under the EPBC Act and a section 75 decision (a decision on whether or not an action is a controlled action) has been made.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
