Overview

This Policy Statement provides guidance on determining whether an event or circumstance is an 'indirect consequence' of an action for the purposes of the EPBC Act. An indirect consequence is frequently referred to as an 'indirect impact'.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
