The National EPA is inviting feedback on the administration of Australia’s national environmental protection laws.

Our inaugural ‘Have Your Say’ survey opens on Monday, 31 August 2026 to help us understand stakeholder experiences and identify opportunities for improvement.

We are asking stakeholders to participate if they have recently interacted with any of the following regulatory functions:

  • Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation
  • Wildlife Trade
  • Live Import List
  • National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme
  • Waste Exports
  • Hazardous Waste
  • Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Regulation, including:
    • OPSGG Import and Export Licensing
    • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Permit Scheme
    • Fire Protection Permit Scheme
  • Product Emission Standards
  • Sea Dumping.

The survey will be open until 11.59 pm AEST on Thursday, 30 September 2026.

Feedback collected in the survey helps to inform our program activities and priorities during the establishment of the National EPA.

We intend to release findings as part of our reporting and as a baseline for regular monitoring in the future.
