About the Wildlife Trade Operation

Approval of this Wildlife Trade Operation allows for the wild harvest and commercial export of Australian native Queen ants by Antastic, subject to conditions. The proposal satisfied the requirements of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).

The Wildlife Trade Operation was registered on 13 March 2024 and will be in force from 14 March 2024 to 14 March 2027.
