About the wildlife trade operation

Approval of this wildlife trade operation allows for the harvest and commercial export of products derived from Bennett’s Wallaby (Macropus rufogriseus) and Tasmanian Pademelon (Thylogale billardierii) by Lenah Game Meats, subject to conditions. The proposal satisfies the requirements of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

The wildlife trade operation was registered on 24 April 2026 and will be in force until 24 April 2029.
