Eligibility
To work with the National EPA, you must:
- be an Australian citizen
- be willing to undergo a probation period
- complete pre-employment checks, which may include:
- medical assessment
- police and character checks
- reference checks
- qualification checks (where required).

Salary and conditions
Employment conditions will be set in accordance with the relevant Australian Public Service enterprise agreement (Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water Enterprise Agreement 2024–2027) and legislative framework.
