The Recycling and Waste Reduction Act 2020 (the Act) regulates the export of waste glass, plastic (including processed engineered fuel), tyres and paper.
When the rules for the different waste materials come into effect, exporters of these materials must comply with the relevant rules and the Act.
Our approach to compliance is to provide support to exporters and to undertake a range of compliance activities including audits, monitoring and responding to reports of non-compliance.
