About the Wildlife Trade Operation
Approval of this Wildlife Trade Operation allows for the commercial export of harvested Tasmannia lanceolata, commonly referred to as Tasmanian Nativepepper or mountain pepper by Diemen Pepper, subject to conditions. The proposal satisfied the requirements of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
The Wildlife Trade Operation was registered on 3 June 2025 and will be in force from 4 June 2025 to 4 June 2028.
