About the wildlife trade management plan
This approved management plan provides for the sustainable commercial use of:
- Eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus)
- Western grey kangaroos (Macropus fuliginosus).
The plan meets the requirements of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 and Victorian Government legislative and policy requirements.
The plan was registered on 11 September 2024. It will be in force from 12 September 2024 until 1 September 2029.
