We use audits to identify if approval holders are complying with environmental law. Projects may be subject to independent audits or compliance audits. These audits help us ensure nature is being protected. Audits also help us improve our own processes and decision making.
We adopt a risk-based approach to select projects to audit. Projects may be in priority sectors or impact certain environmental values.
